Like with previous Star Wars films, Revenge of the Sith received a novelization, this time courtesy of Matt Stover, who had previously written New Jedi Order: Traitor and Shatterpoint for Star Wars Legends. It is written and directed by George Lucas, who wrote and directed the previous two films in the trilogy, and was released on May 19, 2005.
